Panelists Announced for 3rd Annual EDMbiz Conference in Las Vegas June 17-19

If you love EDM as much as we do, the culture, the music, the people, then you have to be excited to see a great event like The EDMBiz Conference. To me it is sort of an F-U to everyone who hates on EDM. It just shows the depth, the maturity and the presence that EDM has become over the past few years.

This year the symposium and expo, returns to The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas Tuesday, June 17, Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19 for three days of insightful panels, workshops, and keynote addresses from the music world’s biggest and brightest minds. After much anticipation, the first wave of panelists and speakers has been announced.

Confirmed for the third annual EDMbiz Conference are keynotes from two of the most successful and engaging artists in dance music right now: Hardwell and Above & Beyond. Other focused sessions will dive into many relevant issues including mergers & acquisitions and investment with the “The 6.2 Billion Dollar Business: Does Size Matter?” panel, talent representation and booking with “Meet The Windish Agency” and the “State of the Label: The Art of Selling Music” panel focusing on the record business today.

The curriculum will also feature a new EDM consumer report “Engaging The Electronic Music Listener” from Tatiana Oliveira Simonian, Head of Branded Music Entertainment at Nielsen; a “#20Something” panel curated by Jake Udell, manager of Krewella, focusing on up and coming music executives; and “The Third Annual EDMbiz Artist Panel.” Returning as host for the third year is KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley. Look for more panels and speakers to be announced in the coming days leading up to EDMbiz. Below is the complete list of confirmed participants.
